Election Project Update September 26, 2008
Today’s Responsibilities

1. Make sure you have uploaded all the biographical sketches (4 in total) on your blog.

2. You will be assigned into groups of 2 – 3, where you will form a team to dialogue (in the blog comment section) with one another in response to the following questions:

A. Examine and describe how the bio sketch on your teammate’s blog stresses a specific viewpoint or strength of the candidates and how was it supported?
* Choose either Presidential Candidates for Democrat and Republican parties – or Vice Presidential Candidates for each party. (THIS MEANS YOU COMMENT ON 2 bio sketches – but both political parties must be examined.)

B. For each candidate examined, state anything new you learned from reading the blog that you did not know before.

C. For each candidate examined, pose a question to the blog writer that you would be interested in knowing that was not addressed in the blog.

Example:
McCain: From reading your blog, I feel the major viewpoint you wanted to stress about this candidate is ________________________. I think this because ________________________. Respond to: Is the topic sentence supported by details? How?

B. I thought it was interesting that you included this __________about McCain because I did not know this before/think about it/etc.

C. One thing that your blog leaves me wondering is:



3. POLITICAL CARTOONS: Make sure your political cartoons are uploaded on your blog and the paragraphs about the cartoons are posted.
